Hunting Information


Hunting license and tags: We will purchase the licenses and tags before the hunt starts and the monies due in Canadian Funds are to be paid upon arrival with cash or may be added to the remainder of the hunting price in US Funds.

Firearm License: Non-Residents entering Canada with a firearm must complete a Non-Resident Firearm Declaration and pay a fee of $ CDN 25.00 at customs.

Transportation: There are daily flights into the Prince George Airport from Vancouver, BC, Canada, with
West Jet
or Air Canada.

Accommodations in Prince George: a list of selected hotels/motels will be sent upon booking.

What to bring:
Duffle bag, day pack, warm sleeping bag (15-20F or -10C), water proof hiking boots, warm clothes (dressing in layers in recommended), long underwear, gloves, warm hat, wool or fleece pants and coat (for silent stalking) – for the fall hunt
rain gear, toiletries, towel, flashlight, lighter or matches, insect repellent (late May/early Sept. Only),
pillow/pillowcase (optional), binoculars, camera,
5 game bags (if taking moose meat) – for the fall hunt
Rifle and ammo (for grizzly a minimum of .300 Win. Mag.)
